| Cadet T. Wolfe prepares to throw the proto-type "Condor" model aircraft. Cadets built one first out of regular weight paper to examine its constructions and experiment with the "control surfaces." They then built a "hero model" out of cardstock for racing. |
After the cadets reviewed some AEROSPACE EDUCATION (focusing on Module 1 from their work) they consturcted paper aircraft. This was followed by a race using a one made of "sterner stuff."
C/SrA J. Stillwagon's aircraft won the race beating one built by C/A1C George Cavazos. Once the race concluded, Cadet Stillwagon's aircraft had to run a "guantlet" as the losing aircraft attempted to "shoot it down."
