PERMISSION SLIP/INFORMATION SHEET 22 APRIL 2011
Cadets from the COASTAL BEND CADET SQUADRON will travel to CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT on 26 APRIL 2011 to attend a meeting of the CORPUS CHRISTI COMPOSITE SQUADRON. This will be the last practice for the BUC DAYS PARADE which will be held on 30 APRIL 2011 in CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS. CADETS will travel in the squadron van limiting the number to some 10 cadets and equipment. Your child __________________________________________ has been selected to attend this practice.
ALL CADETS MUST BE IN FULL UNIFORM FOR THAT DAY. THE UNIFORM OF THE DAY WILL BE BATTLE DRESS UTILITY UNIFORMS (BDU) CADETS that do NOT have BDUs may wear blues. CADETS should wear them to school to facilitate easy transportation.
CADETS will be in good behavior for said activity, any violation of their CORE VALUES may result in a demotion or even expulsion from the program. I DO NOT ANTICIPATE any such activity and look forward to a fun activity of fellowship with our sister squadron in Corpus Christi.
Cadets are asked to bring money for a meal at McDonald’s, in ROBSTOWN, TEXAS. we may also stop at a gas station to fuel up…I recommend that CADETS refrain from buying snacks there for it will be a waste of money.
WE intend to leave promptly at 1630L hrs (4:30 pm) pause to eat at McDonalds and arrive at CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT at 1800L hrs (6:00 pm) The meeting will run there until 2030L hrs (8:30 pm), we expect to be back in Kingsville, Texas at 2150L hrs (9:30 pm) Please allow time for cadets to be dropped off at home.
CADETS may bring their cell phones, but no texting will be allowed during the meetings. CADETs will be encouraged to contact you as we leave town for home.
