TRAVEL ORDERS/INFORMATION SHEET 27 APRIL 2011
Cadets from the COASTAL BEND CADET SQUADRON will travel to CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS on 30 APRIL 2011 to march in the 2011 BUC DAYS PARADE. CADETS will travel in the squadron van limiting the number to some 13 cadets and equipment. Your child ______________________________________ has been chosen to attend this practices.
ALL CADETS MUST BE IN FULL UNIFORM FOR PARADE. THE UNIFORM OF THE DAY WILL BE BATTLE DRESS UTILITY UNIFORMS (BDU) CADETS CADET and SENIOR MEMBER OFFICERS will wear short sleeve blues (BDUs will be allowed if blues are unavailable.)
CADETS will be in good behavior for said activity, any violation of their CORE VALUES may result in a demotion or even expulsion from the program. I DO NOT ANTICIPATE any such activity and look forward to a fun activity.
Cadets are asked to bring money for a meal. We will also stop at a gas station to fuel up…I recommend that CADETS refrain from or seriously consider not buying snacks there for it is my opinion that that is a waste of money.
Kingsville cadets are to meet at Memorial Middle School (CAP STATION KINGSVILLE...in the back) at 1415L hrs (2:15 pm) Saturday 30 April 2011 for a 1430L hrs (2:30 pm) departure for Corpus Christi. The Parade will start PROMPTLY at 2000 L hrs (8:00 pm), we are required to be there at 1600 L hrs (4:00 pm). UNIFORM of the DAY WILL BE BDUs for CADET AIRMEN and NCOs and short sleeve blues for officers. We may return somewhat late depending on positioning in the parade.
CADETS may bring their cell phones, but no texting will be allowed during the activity. CADETs will be encouraged to contact you as we leave town for home.
